So if WordPress gives you the “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page” it might be because its wp_usermeta table is marked as crashed by MySQL and needs repair. A quick SQL query
repair table wp_usermeta
may do the trick. I did it from within PHPMyAdmin.
As a reminder, don’t forget you should be using the WordPress backup option, under the Manage tab, click Backup.
