Hello,
I’ve got a macbook pro, bought in about November 2008. The battery seems to be dead, but I don’t care about that as I always use it plugged in.
The power button wasn’t working at all, so I took it into a repair shop. The man did something – he said he had re set it – and it worked fine in the shop. I took it back, and I still have the same problem – it won’t turn on.
I looked up re-setting, and went through the whole thing (unplug power cord, take out battery, hold down power button for 5 seconds, reconnect battery and power), but that doesn’t help.
Is it my power supply? (The green light comes on as normal.)
Thanks,
Ed.
