It makes it easier having to be back at work when they give you a quad processor G5 and a video iPod to play with 🙂
(The G5’s box looked like it had been sitting on the wharf over the Christmas break. The cardboard was a) waterlogged and b) covered in rusty marks from non-slip steel decking material. Perhaps they just strapped it to the top of the ship or something. Fortunately the machine seems to be working ok).
Oh, and the FireWire 800 cable got some heavy use today. If you’ve got more recent machines, it’s worthwhile getting one to shunt data between them.
